Written for an Advent Story project I'm working on. This is from the perspective of Mary. Mary of course impressed me
because, though she knew that having a child out of wedlock might mean losing her family, her husband, her friends, and even her life, her response was 'Behold the handmaiden of the Lord, be it even according to Your will'.
Would that we could have that kind of devotion to the Lord, to follow His will, whatever the cost.
